Francesco Gatti was born in 1996 in Milano, Italy. He received his Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2021, with a thesis on the development of non-conventional targets for laser-driven particle sources. He received his PhD in Energy and Nuclear Science and Technology at Politecnico di Milano in April 2025 with a scholarship on the research topic “Development of an innovative laser-driven particle source for industrial and societal applications”.
