Davide Vavassori was born in 1994 in Bergamo, Italy. He received his PhD in Energy and Nuclear Science and Technology at Politecnico di Milano on the research topic “Production of nanostructured films for nuclear applications using advanced deposition techniques” in September 2023. He received his Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering from Politecnico di Milano with a thesis on production and characterization of optimized targets for enhanced laser driven ion acceleration. He is currently a post-doc researcher at Politecnico di Milano.
