Davide Orecchia was born in 1995 in Verbania, Italy. He received his Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2020, with a thesis on the production of carbon nanofoams through femtosecond pulsed laser deposition. He got his PhD in Energy and Nuclear Science and Technology at Politecnico di Milano in September 2024, working on pulsed laser deposition of low density materials. He is now a post-doc researcher at Politecnico di Milano.
